Basilica of the Holy Blood
The Basilica of the Holy Blood, is one of the most religious sights in Bruges. This is because there is a bottle in the basilica that contains a drop of the blood of Christ. The blood is said to have been brought here from the Holy Land by Dietrich of Alsace in 1149 after the Second Crusade. The church is open daily from 10 AM to 5:15 PM.
